Sworn translation is an official translation required when handing in some documents (birth and marriage certificates, deeds, legal claims and resolutions, contracts, medical records, degrees or academic records, etc) so that they are valid for the public administration of a specific country. These translations shall be handed in on stamped paper and signed by a sworn translator appointed by the Foreign Affairs Ministry.
